Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later released.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
