Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
